Jeļena’s professional experience in journalism and as a business consultant has taught her to listen to and truly hear her conversation partners, to understand people’s needs, and sometimes even their unspoken thoughts and pain. Jeļena is a patriot of Latgale, and even during her studies at the University of Latvia, she was convinced that she would return home and tie her future life to her beloved Rēzekne. “Although I have never been in your shoes, you brave returnees, I fully understand that returning home can be both an emotional and a practical challenge—questions about work, starting a business, healthcare, and the integration of children into a new environment often cause uncertainty. My goal is to make this process understandable, structured, and secure.”
